A DAY IN MILWAUKEE Approx 12 hrs - $85.00            Lunch                             8am-8pm

Spend a full day north of the Illinois border!  Our tour will start off at Jelly Belly Factory.  We will then head to Milwaukee to tour Miller Park Stadium and the Pabst Brewery.  Our next stop is for lunch at The Safe House.  This place is one of a kind; many say this spy haven cannot be defined, it needs to be experienced.  It has provided Crafty Concoctions and Incredible Edibles to hungry agents. This popular spy-themed restaurant has been operating since 1966.  After lunch we will tour the Harley Davidson Museum.   Our last stop before heading home is a brat stop for a quick bite.  Dinner is at your own expense.   Note:  There is a 35 person minimum for this tour.

FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT TOUR Approx 5 hrs - $65.00          Lunch              10am-3pm

Our bus will take us through the communities of Oak Park and River Forest to see Wright’s Prairie designs.  Our tour will start at the landmark Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio where he worked and lived with his family.  Our second stop will be the United Temple, Wright’s first public building.  We conclude our tour with lunch at Winberie’s, a charming, historic restaurant in downtown Oak Park.

SECOND CITY Approx 7 hrs - $85                               Dinner                          4pm-11pm

Chicago was the birthplace of the improvisational comedy form some 50 odd years ago, and the city remains the country’s primary breeding ground for this challenging art form.  Following a Chicago Style Pizza dinner, it is on to Second City, the sketch comedy troupe that was the precursor to Saturday Night Live. It is the legendary improv company that has served as a training ground for generations of would-be superstars.  Performers, usually working in an ensemble, ask the audience for a suggestion, and then launch into short, long, silly, serious, or surreal scenes loosely related to that original audience input.

HAUNTED BUS TOUR Approx 5 hrs - $55                        Dinner                 6pm – 11pm

Chicago is one of the most “haunted” cities in the world, boasting a colorful but disturbingly dark and violent past.  Our adventures will start with dinner at Triple Crown, a Chinese restaurant in Westmont, IL.  Our guide, Richard Crowe, is a noted expert on the world of the unexplained.  Mr. Crowe will talk about Chicago’s history - be it cursed, jinxed, mysterious or supernatural. We will continue the tour thru Chinatown, Greek Town and Taylor Street.  Also, hear ‘hauntingly strange’ stories about Abraham Lincoln, Al Capone and Oprah Winfrey.

Wednesday 8/6/08

BEHIND THE $CENE$ TOUR Approx 8 hrs - $85            Lunch                 7:45am-4pm

Our guided tour starts at the commanding Chicago Board of Trade, which sits like a throne over the financial district.  Get the true feeling of being an ‘options’ or ‘futures’ trader as we stand on the floor when the trading bell goes off!  Our next stop will be to the massive Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.  The facility processes currency and checks, scanning bills for counterfeit, destroying unfit currency and repackaging fit currency. See what a million dollars in cash looks like!  We will then be honored guests at the Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago for a 4 **** 3 course meal.  After lunch visit City Hall. You’ll see the Mayor’s outer office, the City Council Chambers, the Department of Streets and Sanitation.  Our final stop is Macy’s – formerly our beloved Marshall Field’s – shed a tear.  The first department store in the Midwest, it stands as a glorious reminder of how grand department stores used to be.   Famous the world over for its magnificent interiors, featuring the Great Clock, Atrium fountains and the breathtaking Tiffany Glass Dome visible from the fifth floor.   Shopping time will be included.
